Circular Design. Made Ethically. For Life.

Kipkalm is a circular fashion label offering a simple solution to a complex problem. The fashion industry is a major contributor to global air and water pollution, obscene wastage, human and animal exploitation – and that’s just the tip of the unethical iceberg. Kipkalm is working to a circular economy standard, even though the rest of the industry has a lot of catching up to do.

With so much secrecy in the world of fashion, we err on the side of TMI, offering full disclosure as to how each of our pieces came to be. Every thread, every fibre, every button is accounted for, because we have nothing to hide.

Our clothes are affordable as they can be, because we don’t mark them up to traditional retail prices. We’d never want to price people out of making a difference. In saying that, we are NOT fast fashion prices, which are only the price they are because they’re exploitative to people and our planet. Plain and simple.

We don’t just talk about ethics and sustainability, we live and breathe them. Our clothes are made in Melbourne from renewable, organic and recycled materials. From our buttons crafted from the seeds of fallen corozo fruit in Panama, to our family owned manufacturer in Melbourne’s inner north, we work tirelessly to ensure that every step of the journey is as thoughtful and sustainable as possible. Not that we’ve clocked it, by any means. Our search for ways to improve is just as tireless.

When you buy one of our intelligently crafted garments, you’re becoming part of the solution.
